There is power in TODAY with Christ in our lives. God power. That's the message I get from today's reading.
3 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today...”
14 We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.
As believers, we are blessed to have Jesus in our lives, to "share in Christ." And because He is with us, we have to be intentional about living our lives with Him in mind (and in our hearts and souls).
"As long as it is called 'Today'..." we have power, love, and Holy Spirit in us for the purposes of what is right in front of us at any given moment.
Today is the day, friends.
16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Today is the day.
What will you do with it?
A prayer for today-
Dear God,
Thank you for today. Thank you for the blessing of the great "high priest," Jesus, I have in my life. Because of Jesus, I can approach You and Your throne of grace and mercy with confidence. Help me to remember Your Son in all that I do. What do you, need me to do for You today, Lord? Fill me with Your Spirit and guide my hands and feet. I pray for ____________.
In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit,
Amen
Grace and peace,
